Revitalizing Full Body Scrub

Exfoliating has always been an important step in all skin care treatments – be it a simple facial or a complete spa experience. Exfoliating helps to rejuvenate the skin by exposing the smoother and supple layer of skin after removal of the dead skin layer. While there exists a range if facial scrubs which are suited to exfoliate the facial skin, there is a wide variety of body scrubs for exfoliating the dead skin of the body.

Salt and other exfoliates can be abrasive, and some therapists have a heavier hand than others. Individuals also differ in their skin sensitivity. If it feels too harsh, speak up.

One of our signature spa treatment at Baliayu Spa Sanctuary is the combination of a body scrub with a full body massage. Get the body scrub first because it is stimulating, whereas the massage calms you down.

Benefits of Using a Body Scrub

A body scrub will actually help to remove dead skin from your body, making you feel fresh and rejuvenated. A body scrub is the best way to also remove a skin tan. If your skin had become rough and has darkened due to pollution or exposure to dust, you can use a scrub to remove the rough skin layer leaving you with a soft and supple skin.

How Often Can I Use a Body Scrub?

Do not use the scrub often because frequent scrubbing can damage the young skin layer once the dead skin is off the body surface. You can use a scrub once in a week or two. Also remember to use a very gentle scrub in case you have a dry skin.
